As an authorised Earned Recognition audit provider, FTA can support an operator’s application by providing a full and comprehensive audit required to join the Earned Recognition scheme.

This provides a full audit of an operator’s systems to meet their operator licence undertakings. Aligned to DVSA’s Earned Recognition standards, this audit will satisfy DVSA’s requirements for an Earned Recognition audit or provide an operator with a comparison of how they compare to the Earned Recognition standards.

Our Tachograph Systems and Driver Management Audit has been aligned to sections 4 and 6 of DVSA Earned Recognition audit standards. By aligning the content to these industry standards, this audit helps operators prepare for DVSA Earned Recognition and Traffic Commissioners.

Our comprehensive vehicle maintenance audit is mapped to DVSA Guide to Maintaining Roadworthiness and checks an operator’s systems and their responsibilities involved in maintaining vehicles in a roadworthy condition, regardless of operating conditions, fleet size or vehicle type.

This is a smaller, local check of maintenance files and records and covers the four key areas of vehicle files checks, daily walk around checks and defect reports, safety inspection planning, reports and completion and electronic record keeping where appropriate.
