Face-to-face events are temporarily suspended

The Coronavirus pandemic is affecting people, businesses and communities all around the world. This, of course, includes the logistics industry and support functions such as staff training.

Following the most recent advice provided by the UK government regarding ‘social distancing’, we have taken the decision to temporarily suspend face-to-face training events. This will take effect from Monday 23rd March 2020. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

Although we cannot currently provide an end-date to this suspension of service, we are working on the basis that it is temporary. Therefore, if we don’t hear from you, we will automatically transfer your booking to the next scheduled course, after the 31st May 2020.

FTA can offer the following courses online:

Not all of our courses are available as an online equivalent, for legal or technical reasons. However, whichever course you are due to attend with us, we are happy to transfer you to one of our online options and provide a credit note if there is a price differential.

It’s important to see opportunity in change - even in these most challenging of times. The skills developed now will be just as valuable in future times, so training, now more than ever, is of critical importance to personal development and organisational resilience.

'Taking training staff out of their delivery duties to create engaging materials can be costly and time-consuming. To assist, we have created a range of materials that can be purchased ‘off the shelf’. We can provide a complete ‘turn-key’ solution, whereby we design materials and train your staff to deliver the organisational objectives you agreed with us.'

Keith Gray, General Manager, Training, Audit and Accreditation
